it just felt like yesterday when i started reading itwait- right it indeed was yesterday when i started to read it。 I completed this book in one sitting。 I remember the author saying that this one is thicker than Twisted Hate but for me it was the shortest because everything in it was fantabulous and i just couldn't stop myself from turning the page over and over again until I realised that i was already 70% done with it。 I hadn't wanted to let go of it but at the same time i wanted to know what it just felt like yesterday when i started reading itwait- right it indeed was yesterday when i started to read it。 I completed this book in one sitting。 I remember the author saying that this one is thicker than Twisted Hate but for me it was the shortest because everything in it was fantabulous and i just couldn't stop myself from turning the page over and over again until I realised that i was already 70% done with it。 I hadn't wanted to let go of it but at the same time i wanted to know what happens with not just our main characters but also the whole cast。。。ah since I'm already on similar lines I would say that my fav scenes were when the whole gang were together。。。their interactions were gold。。。especially Josh。 I can't believe that he is the same character that I was semi-angry with， in Twisted Hate but in this one he definitely stole the show。 Even more so one of the things i loved to see was how Josh and Alex were back on good terms and how Josh got jealous of all those things。The other best part of this book was the chemistry between Christian and Stella。 I don't why but it definitely felt that the author went all out with the ahemmm *coughs* *coughs*。 But anyways what matters is that all of those parts were perfection。 It is a slow burn but the tension and the push and pull between them is what hooked from the get-go。 I had to double-check that our favourite scenes came so late in the book because to me the pacing was great。 Also， they acted so mature。。。even during their rough patch they both handled everything like adults。We also saw a good enough character development of both Stella and Christian。 I was baffled whenever Christian would try to fool himself and think that he is not in love with her when each and every one of his actions suggested otherwise。 As for Stella， one of the scenes I liked her in was （view spoiler）[ during her confrontation with the stalker。 I would have also liked at least some clue for the identity of the stalker。。。honestly， that reveal was like just out of the air without any buildup but if it had been otherwise the book would have become a thriller instead lol（view spoiler）[ （hide spoiler）] （hide spoiler）] 。。。more

This book！！Twisted Lies was lengthy！ I kept monitoring the progress percentage like a hawk because I didn’t want it to end too soon。 Or at all。 But at the same time， there were moments I felt impatient for things to unravel。 The slow burn practically destroyed me… between the build up， those looks， the steam… the smallest escalation had a tremendous effect。 I basically held my breath during each tension filled encounter。 By the time we got something， it felt like an actual explosion。I related so This book！！Twisted Lies was lengthy！ I kept monitoring the progress percentage like a hawk because I didn’t want it to end too soon。 Or at all。 But at the same time， there were moments I felt impatient for things to unravel。 The slow burn practically destroyed me… between the build up， those looks， the steam… the smallest escalation had a tremendous effect。 I basically held my breath during each tension filled encounter。 By the time we got something， it felt like an actual explosion。I related so much to Stella’s character。 Her anxiety， her self doubt， her silence， her imposter syndrome。 I inserted myself in her shoes so easily and seamlessly and for me that’s one hell of an achievement for a writer to be able to do。 Also， I was all for that feeling because I was also able to connect more deeply with Christian and the events that took place。 Stella’s character development was done so well。 She just needed that hint of support to push her to be the best version of herself。 And all those scenes where she got that gave me all the feels！ But also having her reach her full potential was everything！Give me possessive， give me mysterious， give me obsessed powerful man in a suit any day， EVERYDAY！ Christian ticked all the boxes and then some！ My man Alex is still my number one but Christian is neck to neck with him 😏 It was my absolute pleasure watching this man fall and fall hard while fighting it every step until。。。 They always think they can stay in control and fight love… HA！ What do they know 😈 The bittersweet moments got to me the most。 I cherished the gatherings， the phone calls， the texts… and that epilogue 🥹 And with this book hinting at what’s coming in Ana’s new series… I’ve never wished for summer to go over fast but October can NOT come soon enough… So excited for King of Wrath！ 。。。more

Twisted Lies is the final installment in the Twisted series and while I'm sad to see it go， I'm even sadder that this book did not hit the way that I wanted it。I'm wearing my cape so I can be super sad type sad。What I loved:Christian and Stella's chemistry is off the charts。 I've picked up on it in pervious books and was practically drooling when I knew this book was coming soon。 Which may be part of the problem for me。 I Hyped this book up to the 10th power and expectations fell flat。I loved th Twisted Lies is the final installment in the Twisted series and while I'm sad to see it go， I'm even sadder that this book did not hit the way that I wanted it。I'm wearing my cape so I can be super sad type sad。What I loved:Christian and Stella's chemistry is off the charts。 I've picked up on it in pervious books and was practically drooling when I knew this book was coming soon。 Which may be part of the problem for me。 I Hyped this book up to the 10th power and expectations fell flat。I loved that we got to see the glimpses of the past couples and the girl group。 （Jules will always have my heart）。And I loved seeing Stella stepping into her own and the dynamic between her and Christian ever evolving as the book went on。 The way he was this guiding hand giving her the push she needed made the couple real for me and I wanted to cheer and rejoice for them。 For that reason alone they are a close second to Jules and Josh as top couple in this series。What I didn't like:I finished this book in two days and it was almost going to be a day but somewhere in the middle I started to get annoyed and had to put the book down。 I am the QUEEN of slowburns I love me a c0cktease before the smut but this was too long of a slow burn。 There was no real reason for it to be such a long slow burn。 With Rhys and Bridget it made sense their dynamics were a no-no。 Even Alex and Ava would have made sense as a slow burn。 Here there's no real reason and especially with the near misses we get。Does anyone else feel like Christian is still a mystery？ I felt a little let down that we don't get to know a lot more about him。Pacing on this one。 I feel like nothing really happens and after about the 80% mark everything seems to happen and makes the ending feel a little rushed。The stalker。。。。。。。 IYKYK。 This wasn't out of place but man did I feel let down at the reveal。All in all this is a great series and I did enjoy it and the little easter eggs for the next series that was sprinkled throughout this book。 。。。more

4。75/5 starsI wanted to start this off by saying thank you to Valentine PR for the ARC！ Twisted Lies has been my most anticipated read of 2022。I fell in love with the characters of the Twisted series immediately - so writing this review is bittersweet because it almost feels like a goodbye to the characters。Ana Huang‘s storytelling has been getting better and better with each book of the Twisted series。 So it is safe to say that I absolutely loved Twisted Lies。This book is about Stella who is pr 4。75/5 starsI wanted to start this off by saying thank you to Valentine PR for the ARC！ Twisted Lies has been my most anticipated read of 2022。I fell in love with the characters of the Twisted series immediately - so writing this review is bittersweet because it almost feels like a goodbye to the characters。Ana Huang‘s storytelling has been getting better and better with each book of the Twisted series。 So it is safe to say that I absolutely loved Twisted Lies。This book is about Stella who is probably the most introverted character of the friend group。 Getting to know her was beautiful。 Stella struggles with anxiety and panic attacks， which were portrayed painfully accurate。 I saw myself in Stella， her anxiety and panic attacks and how she‘s scared of disappointing the people around her - scared of failure。 I loved that Christian is her safe haven。 Because that is what Stella， what every person struggling with their mental health， deserves。 Stella went through amazing character development - I was so happy for her when she finally found her voice and stood up for herself。Stella is for everyone who struggles with anxiety， is trying to find their voice and is a romantic at heart。Christian is the most morally gray MC within the Twisted series。 I loved him from the start。 He is charming and deadly at the same time - which makes him dangerously attractive。 I love how he supports Stella at everything and helped with her anxiety and panic attacks。 I adored how he has been caring and supportive when it came to her。Stella wasn‘t the only one going through development。 We have seen another side of Christian in this book: yes， he is morally gray and dangerous but he is also a person who has been hurting for so many years。 I am glad that Christian could finally make peace with his past and was capable to love someone。 The moment he realized that he loves Stella was captured beautifully。I have to talk about the group moments that Ana Huang has teased:Twisted Lies reminded me why I love the found family trope so much。I love this group dynamic and seeing the whole group interact together was the best thing ever。 Their love for one another is so beautiful that you wish you could be a part of it。And not only Christian and Stella went through character development - everyone in this series did and we saw that in Twisted Lies。I will - without a doubt - reread this entire series。 It still feels like I have to say goodbye to the characters I‘ve grown to love so much。 。。。more
